Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 2021
October 8, 2021 - October 10, 2021
Denver, Colorado
https://www.audiofest.net/ (https://www.audiofest.net/)
Looks like it's happening, I'm thinking about it.
Who else?
-
I am definitely going.
-
Maybe a yes for me. I'll try my best to be there.
-
I’d love to go. I’ve never attended RMAF, but I did get to Axpona 2014.
-
HAL will be at RMAF2021 in the Al Stiefel Rememberance room with new audio products, the MS-6 Music Server and dspNexus 2x8 DSP system and open baffle planar speaker system.
Hope to see folks there!

I plan on attending as well. Sleeping rooms at the Gaylord are $244 per night plus fees. I stayed at the Gaylord for the 2019 show. The hotel is very nice but still... The nearest other hotels are too far away for walking to and from the Gaylord. Assuming RMAF 2021 actually happens I hope they set up shuttles. The previous venue, the Marriott at Denver Tech Center, had its faults but the sleeping rooms were fine and reasonably priced.

would be nice to attend, i may do it, but want to be sure that appropriate virus protocols are implemented
so many tight packed spaces in a hifi show

You confirmed what I saw as well. (second set of eyes always good). :thumb:

Not many exhibitors are signed up just yet - no Spatial, Modwright, Vinnie Rossi, Salk, Odyssey, Daedelus, TWL, Bryston, AVA, Digital Amp Company ... https://www.audiofest.net/show/exhibitors/ (https://www.audiofest.net/show/exhibitors/)
Axpona in Schaumburg is 3 weeks later, hasn't posted an exhibitor list, bot the rooms are sold out. Go figure.

It's still a little early, the exhibitor list will expand in a day or two.
Enjoy the Music posted a note from Marjorie Baumert and Marcie Miller (http://www.enjoythemusic.com/RMAF_2021/):
"Because of the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 information and mandates, we are not accepting payments for exhibit space until May 17. This will give us all time to feel confident in moving forward. Your signed contract will hold your space in the absence of cold hard cash. You know us – if we are forced to cancel, our policy is to refund money collected so you can get on with life. It's not quite the same as "putting the fun back in refund," but it's the best we can do under the circumstances! Thanks for your friendship and support! We look forward to seeing you in October! Meanwhile, stay safe!"

Thanks WGH, it’s good to see that theres a level of common sense and humor in the organizers approach. I hope they’re rewarded with a successful show.

I’m happy to announce that Hapa Audio will be making its first public showing at RMAF. :thumb: The details are still being worked out, but at the very least I’ll have a booth in the HeadSpace room. D3 is our booth number. :green:
