My favorite coverage of the show, a bit of a guilty pleasure.  My only annoyance is that we didn't earn the moniker "Dick Hammer".

http://noaudiophile.com/RMAF_2015_Day_3/

That might have been me he was referring to in the Nimbus review. I didn't know who the dude was and if he'd asked I would've given him the sweet spot. But after reading he gave best of show to the VR 55's from Von Schweikert I'm glad I didn't give him the seat, he didn't deserve it.  :green:

I thought the Nimbus walked all over the 55's with $35k in savings. But that's just me...

Both rooms sounded fantastic Ryan but it would have been cool to see the PS's in one of the ball rooms and let them rock out. I told you when I walked in the first time to see the PS's I was in awe of the scale and size like I was looking at the 8th wonder of the world! They were something to behold for sure.

It was cool getting to meet you guys and especially Ed who makes the Nimbus/Aurora cabinets. We had a great time in the Mojo room Saturday night and Sunday before I left playing all kinds of stuff that WASN'T classical or jazz. You rock Ed!

The second in from the left in green is Ryan, the hobbit looking dude in front of him is Pete; they make the magic happen.  The short bald dude with no neck is Ed, he makes the bodies of the Aurora and Nimbus.  The guy with the micro beard and peach dress shirt second in from the right is Mike he's Verastarr Cables.

Great show, great crew ... really great crew!  More than any other show of the past, I loved working with this crew and the bromance all around.  Love seeing all my single serving friends, and making new ones.

I've seen different amplifiers being used in your setup (Lampi tube and Rowland solid state). Which amp did you end up showing and why?

Since the LampizatOr guys paid for a share of the room, using or not using the amplifiers was totally up to them.  It was a decision to try something different because we were all just enjoying the sound so much, and wanted to see how they'd do with top-tier solid state.

BTW, I often use a 9w 300B SET amp on the Perfect Storm at home, they will work with pretty much anything which we consider a big plus.

I love my Plasmatron!  It has become as much a fixture as anything in my home setup.

What did you guys do with Ed?  :)

Sent him a pm a couple days ago asking about which Infected Mushroom track he had playing in the Nimbus room. Anybody know by chance?

The Lampizator guys are flanking the couple in the middle.  Fred (gopher) is to the right of the woman in the center, and Rob (tallest, right of Ryan) is to the left of Ed.
