D200s-Changing Inlets
« on: 2 Dec 2006, 10:38 am »
Hi Dusty,  I was wondering can I change the XLR connections on the back of the D200s for RCAs myself or does it need to be factory done.  I can buy a pair of ex-demos at a reduced cost.
Thanks Greg

Changing input jacks requires complete disassembly and reassembly of each amplifier, so I'd suggest having us do it for you. Cost is $100 for both including the new jacks.

The other option is to buy a pair of XLR/RCA adapters...this leaves you the choice of connecting them either way.

Musicians Friend carries RCA to XLR adapters for about $4 each.  Work well with my D-200's when I go from balanced to single ended feed.
