Title: Fresh off of the bench
Post by: Pez on 25 Aug 2022, 06:31 pm
I make a lot of exclusive gear for members. I don't always get around to posting my creations, but I'm going to make a concerted effort to post at least a few photos of every custom piece I do. I think you all might enjoy seeing some of the craziness.

This piece is unique. Client wanted something totally different and we went with an ultra feminine color scheme. Gotta be honest, I love it! This is going on a pair of Meze Liric headphones with an iFi Gryphon portable DAC. I used 3.5 TRRS for the headphone end to reduce the amount of material in the signal path vs using a standard TRS which would have to barrel and shield connector in the signal path. amp end is a 4.4 TRRRS pentaconn.  Sounds insanely detailed on my test gear.  8)

Please don't post these.  You'll make me spend money I don't have.

All kidding aside, these are drop dead gorgeous.  Picture makes it look a bit like a rattlesnake.  Was that intentional?

The way KnØt is designed sorta does have a snake like texture. I wouldn’t say it was intentional to look like that. More of a side effect of the specific geometry I designed for balanced headphone cables. The cable has 8 separate wires. 4 for right and 4 for left. Each channel has signal plus and signal minus running parallel to each other to improve signal arrival time.

The cable has an otherworldly feel. It’s very lightweight and It can be stretched and it holds its shape very well. Hard to explain, but in the end makes it much more user friendly

These bad boys went out this afternoon to their new homes.  8) Two Aero Ag USB and one Aero Cu Coax.

This was about 6 days worth of work.  :o It would have taken longer generally, but the two Aero Ag USB I was able to build the data core like one giant cable then cut it.  8)

For Aero Coax I’m throwing in KLE Absolute connectors at no extra charge for the introduction. BNC gets an AECO BNC connector. Let me know if I can build one for you!  :guitar: :drums: :guitar:

I have another one I want to show you, but it’s a custom piece and I won’t share it until the client has had a chance to see and listen.  :icon_twisted:

Going out today! This isn’t even officially a product yet, that’s how awesome you guys are. :thumb:

Aero Ag Coax/BNC Hybrid with AECO BNC on one end and ETI SilverLink on the other. Listened to this in my setup for all formats and it sounded every bit as great as Aero Ag USB.  8)

It seems a shame to hide this behind my equipment. How about a hapa mirror stuck to the wall that reflects (I figure a 15 degree downward slope, ambient light depending, of course) all of that copper or silver goodness in my direction while listening or otherwise enjoying myself in whatever way consenting adults agree to with whatever source of excitement is necessary to 'do the job'. The snakeskin speaker cables have peeked my curiosity.

 You could always set your equipment up backwards.  :green: OR! You can get yourself some Headfi gear like this:

Dreddz Copper configured for full sized ZMF headphones.

This is for a pair of ZMF headphones. One of the things that makes headphone cables difficult is sometimes companies use their own pin out configuration. In the case of ZMF instead of using all four pins on the mini four pin xlr they only use two. If you don’t wire it properly, you’re basically taking half of the wiring out of the equation. These are little things I have to research in order to make sure my cables achieve the highest possible fidelity.

For this one, I tried a new thing. Usually to indicate left/right I use either a bead on the left channel or some sort of visual hint. On this set I had an insight. I used UV resin to lock the headphone connectors in place and I used pigmented mica powder  mixed in the UV resin to color code the interior of the barrel. Blue is left and red is right.  :thumb:

This is a long one! A bit over 14 feet.  :o

My New Headphone Cable is here.!!!

Jason (Hapa) seems to be on a roll lately. I have changed a few of my cables to the Hapa brand recently. Once the Ember USB was inserted in my system, I wasn’t willing to live without it.. Then came the Breathe (S) and (C) RCAs on the AC tour, 2 of the Breathe (S) RCAs stayed right here with me. Then I won the drawing for a Ember RCA.
So sticking with Hapa seemed to be a “no brainer”, for my HP cable.

I’ve been listening to HPs more lately due to the wife working from home.
I was quickly getting board with the music from my ZMF (Auteur) HPs , and was wondering why, not to mention experiencing some ear fatigue after a few hours of listening.

I felt the link between the HP amp and the phones was perhaps my weakest in the HP part of the system.
Then I remembered how Jason’s cables made improvements to the main system.

Besides, If I upgraded the Headphones or the HP amp, I wouldn’t be able to hear the differences with a weak link in between the two components?

So here I go , ordering a 13’ Dreadz (C) HP cable. (Do I have an obsession, yes I do)

I use ZMF (Auteur) headphones connected to a DECWARE (csp3) preamp/headphone amp which is in turn,  connected to my main system.
( 20 amp dedicated circuit, UberBUSS, InnuOS zen, Holo spring3 kte, Decware zbit, Decware zrock2, Aric Audio passive preamp)

First song is  “Tossin” by Fortunate Youth, simply because it was the last song I listened to on this system.
Within the first few minutes with these Hapa HP cables, I noticed improvements to the Congos, Tom drums, and the reproduction of the human voice..

Listening to “Pink Panther” by Henry Mancini, everything sounds smoother and easier on the ears, compared to the stock ZMF cable, the Saxophone seems to stand out as different in a more natural realistic way.

Next up Dire Straits- “Follow me Home” just the intro.
IMO the drums have the correct placement two taps slightly left from center, then two taps slightly right from center, both taps on the right are next to each other not in the exact same place.
Definitely appears to be an improvement in sound stage .!!

Next, The Elovaters - “Shaking off the Wolves”
Yep, I’m liking what I’m

It’s only been a couple of hours. I wanted to give my first impressions, before I forget the immediately notable changes the new cables made.

Delta77- thank you for your initial impressions.  :green: I was curious how they would sound with your setup. It was quite a task making a cable this length but once I got the rhythm it was a fun build. I used the cable in my own setup for a while and I love the way it sounded. All my personal cables are about 8 ft long so having this one gave me a HUGE degree of freedom that I wasn’t used to.

Your workmanship continues to amaze me.  And the resin trick, genius!

Thank you for your compliments! I really focus on trying to bring something unique and beautiful with every build. I’m definitely going to incorporate this new resin idea into the mix in the future in new ways. let me know if you’d like me to build you something.  :thumb:

An odd one this week.

2 Aero Cu USB cables at 1.5 meters.  This build took me from Monday until today to complete! One is off to California the other to Texas.  :green:

This one, kind of an odd request. A local weirdo with a custom request. This is a DC pigtail build. 18 gauge UPOCC silver nano polished with Aerogel Dielectric! Common/shield is pure silver litz braided like Breathe S. Hardwired to the power supply and an Oyaide 2.1mmID/5.5mm OD connector.  :thumb:  this is a 15V 4A linear supply with an R-core transformer. Really nice sound quality overall and a lot better with this custom pigtail.

There is no easy way to say it, this is the right way to go, IEC power plugs are unsafe and add 9 transfers connections to the power, It has no thread to be screwed on and loses its grip after some time.

Now this is something I really like.

A stand alone DC power cable with a high-end connector on one end. Bare, tinned, or with Spade lugs on the other end.

I would want this in an Ember configuration about two to two feet long, center + outside - and at least two of them to start with.

I think you are onto something here.

Thank you for all your hard work. You will be receiving a order for a Ember USB cable 1.5 long next week.

Gents,
You’re right on with the power supply upgrade. These things are generally really well made and with my JBC desoldering gear I feel confident in performing this type of surgery. The improvement in sound quality is startling! A much more dynamic presentation. Mid bass and upper bass THUMP with authority and everything else top to bottom is injected with a lot more realism and life! I’ll leave it at that. If anyone is interested in discussing mods to a PS I’m more than happy to discuss options.

Phil,
You called it my friend, IMO Aero Cu USB is my prettiest interconnect! I’m a little sad to pack it up and send it out. a lot of love went into these builds.  :green: I hope you and everyone at your G2G enjoy the sound! I’m looking forward to your impressions.

Wayne,
I could do something like this, not quite the same design as Ember, but somewhat similar and better suited for the application. Let me know any time! And I would love to build you a USB cable as well.  :thumb:

Thanks everyone for your kind words.  :green:

An Aero Ag USB may be in my future but I need to finish paying for the wonderful Holo Audio May DAC. 16 months to go on a 0% interest credit card (Wells Fargo Reflect, 22 months @ 0%) I picked out this card just for this purchase. It's like a Christmas savings club in reverse, I got the gift first. In the 1950's my Dad had a holiday savings account, he put in $8.33 a month, at the end of the year he had $100 to spend on presents, that was real money back then.

An Aero Ag USB may be in my future…

Let me know! I’ve got one I’ve been working on this week. It’s a 1.5 meter which means it’s taken me all week and I’m only done with polish and Aerogel.  :duh: A really tough build, but worth the time and effort.  :D

I did find time to knock this one out for a forum member.

Shorty Ember. Really love this build because it’s a lot more simple!

Ember is excellent for portable and on the go use. Really flexible and superb sound quality. I bet many of you gents take a portable rig with you on vacation (maybe headphone based!). A shorty Ember is ideal for that sort of thing.

Wayne in OR,

Yes indeed! It’ll be an interesting one too. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns when the cable arrives.

I’ve been building a ton of Aeros for you all, both copper and silver! I had to order more of the silver plated copper braided shielding. This stuff is very high quality and is one part of 7 shielding layers in Aero.  :duh:

Jason my cable just arrived. :thumb:

I have it plugged in and am listening to it now.

I was concerned about the fitment of the terminal on my DAC. The input terminals are closely spaced. It fits with about 1 mm clearance on either side. :D

It arrived safely and the packaging is very professional, a nice box and bag.

I can tell a difference right away, sounds good. I leave everything powered on 24/7 so It shouldn't take long to burn in.

Thank You so much,

:green: I can’t argue with that! I love the smooth inviting sound of Ember. It’s a bonus that it breaks in so gently.

Are you able to take a photo of the back of your DAC? I’m curious how close it was. I know the Viborg connectors are pretty wide. I’m worried someday that someone will need some sort of alteration!
Title: Re: Fresh off of the bench
Post by: wgraft5 on 10 Nov 2022, 01:15 am
Jason, here ya go. I have about half a mm clearance between the optical cable and the antenna each. They almost touch.

So far everything is a lot cleaner sounding. The bass is tighter. The mid bass has more slam to it. The mids are much cleaner a well as the top end. Cymbals sound more realistic, vocals are easier to understand. Everything sounds warmer and I like that. Seems like a good match for my system. The stock USB cable that came with the DAC (FX Audio D01) was the weak link in my system.

Title: Re: Fresh off of the bench

Wayne,
Oh man, you weren’t kidding! That could not have been closer.  :o really glad it worked out. I think I do need to come up with a potential alternative for times when it wouldn’t work.

Early B,
I don’t currently make a HDMI cable. I have seen a rather large uptick in HDMI being used in audio via the I2S PCM standard. I haven’t even started exploring that, but I’d be curious, are you wanting one from audio specifically or A/V?

Audio. Not sure how labor intensive it is or if they're cost-prohibitive, but if you can find high-end HDMI connectors, it might be worth exploring.

Audio. Not sure how labor intensive it is or if they're cost-prohibitive, but if you can find high-end HDMI connectors, it might be worth exploring.

I was re-wiring components and somehow the HDMI cable into the A/V processor pulled out of the connector. I looked at the cable with 19 wires sticking out in one hand; the connector in the other hand for a minute then went to Ace Hardware and bought a new Monster Cable HDMI cable for $30.

19 wire ends were too many for me reinsert, 38 perfect solder connections would be insane.

Not all I2S port pinouts are the same, the Holo DACs have the ability to configure the pinouts. A custom HDMI cable would limit the resale. I just gave away a data only USB cable (no 5v leg) because it's use is limited.

Your old HDMI cable isn’t good enough anymore. Here’s why
https://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/how-to-choose-an-hdmi-cable/ (https://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/how-to-choose-an-hdmi-cable/)
HDMI 2.1 are designed to handle 40 to 48 gigabits per second of bandwidth, up from the old 18Gbps standard. The article says clock timing could be a problem with cables shorter than 1 meter too.

There is a lot more going on than two wires and a ground.
Title: Re: Fresh off of the bench
Post by: Pez on 10 Nov 2022, 07:12 pm
Yes indeed, it would be a nightmare of a build and very unlikely to utilizes anything super fancy like Aerogel dielectric due to the sheer physical size it would be and of course the difficulty in making such a cable. I refuse to exclude it forever, but until I see an application foR it that the mighty USB 2.0 format can’t handle it makes very little sense and I have my doubts at it’s long term necessity, nor do I see any inherent advantages.

A few build this week (and last). Last week I sent out another Aero Ag USB to Texas (more on that later) but I forgot to take photos. Any way, I FINALLY got around to building myself an Aero Cu USB for myself. I wanted to tease[]  another fun build per request of a few folks here on AC. But first and FOREMOST. The build a lot of folks have been incredibly patient on. And yes tour/pricing info is coming this week as well. 8)

Ok, I am committing to getting tour form out THIS WEEK and this is my commitment!

Hey all,
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Unfortunately in the Wong household we all got the flu.  :duh: We had to cancel all the festivities and take a week off. I’m still recovering but wanted to post a project I finished as a special request. I’m sure you all have seen this build, many of you probably have done it yourself! This is not a future product nor even part of my normal lineup, but if you’re wanting a pro to build it for you let me know. I’m not averse to doing so and I’m using one of my favorite connectors. The rhodium plated Viborg connectors. Aluminum barrels, clear plastic gorgeousness! And I use thick nylon rope for the center separator.

Can even do 20 amp IEC or specialized plugs. Just ask.  :thumb:

For the same client, I had a request for an adaptor to go along with his KnØt silver headphone cable. He has Meze Elite, Liric, AND the new 109s. The Elites use a standard 4 pin mini XLR. But Liric and 109 use 3.5 mm. To reduce the amount of material in signal, I utilize a special TRRS connector AND on this one I had to use ultra skinny barrels for the 109s. This took coordination with the good folks at Meze to get their barrel size requirements, pinout and a few other questions. But the results, speak for themselves! No bottlenecking on this adaptor! The internal pins are jumpered with pure silver UPOCC 20 gauge wire and then connects to 8 total packets of Angel Hair Litz silver, braided with a custom geometry that both allows for the cleanest possible signal transfer and is springy in order to reduce strain. All in an insanely small yet gorgeous package. And yes, I tested them out and they’re really transparent. Worth the extra effort.

Nano-polished pure silver UPOCC aerogel dielectric same as Torsion Ag. Furutech rhodium plated spades that were crimped and soldered.  8)

It’s a true testament that someone with that eye watering expensive digital front end chose your cables. Pretty obvious they could afford any cables on the market. Congratulations.

I haven’t had a chance to show you all but there has been a mostly cosmetic refresh for QS cables. Gone are the heat shrink arrow indicators near the barrels. They’re replaced with the sexy new silver decals. Also the new version uses a much nicer and better shielding quality Mylar layer making the QS shimmer.  8)

Last but not least, these ones have the new hotness from KLE the Perfect Harmony connectors. All I can say is WOW! Smoother more organic while retaining the same detail of the Absolutes. A worthwhile upgrade for sure. These are going out for eval to an AC member.  8)

Going out today! I haven’t posted the last few just out of forgetfulness on my part, but this set I remembered before boxing things up.

2 Aero Ag BNC and one Aero Ag USB. This has been a theme lately, a lot of folks are using the BCA cables for either proprietary BNC interfaces with with streamers and DACs or they’re using them for clocks. I really love the AECO BNC connectors. An excellent design and incredible sound quality.

Keep on rolling! Aero Cu USB went out yesterday. Every Aero cable is made by hand. It is a meticulous process that takes several days to make. From polishing to installing the shield, the entire process is done in-house.

And going out today. This is a theme lately! Dual Aero BNC for a proprietary clocking system. A lot of folks using this sort of setup it seems. I’m curious to hear what experience you folks have with such a rig.

Thanks to the folks who share their experiences. It’s what helps spread the word on Hapa Audio.

2 pair of Ember RCA. One set at 2 meters. It’s been a while since I’ve posted any Ember builds. It might be time for another tour for them.  :green:

Got another build I’ll post later. This one is unique.

I’ve been very happy with KnØt FS for most of my listening needs. For headphones it’s literally the best I know how to make. However when I’m on the go, I’ve wanted something more compact and easier to carry. I would normally use KnØt IEM for my IEM headphones, however for my Meze Lirics this design is less than ideal. I needed something “fatter” in physical design for the Y section of the cable without being gigantic like KnØt FS. I think this solution is both beautiful and sonically exceptional!

This is the first of a kind potentially. KnØt in a compact form for full sized headphones for portability. The beads are pure titanium hand made by a titanium beadmaker in Ukraine. I order them custom sometimes for clients if they want a look that is 100% unique. These ones are anodized to have that gorgeous iridescent verdigris and lavender color variation that changes when viewed from different angles.

I want to post more on KnØt and why it stands at the apex of headphone cable designs. Stay tuned.

An odd one last week! I had a client who needed to adapt two adaptors  basically he needed to insert a heater to a tube octal and the only way to do it and still have compatibility across a few different options was to make this crazy adaptor:

I used the current favorite tube sockets for the female banana connectors and a gold plated 5.5 OD 2.5 ID dc plug on the other end. I then used an acrylic tube and epoxy with sparkling mica pigment for the female dc connector to secure everything in place. A very attractive and effective solution!

This allowed the client to use 6J5 driver tubes rather than the 6SN7 tubes normally used in his amp. The voltage to the heater is delivered by a Ferrum Hypsos voltage variable voltage unit.  :thumb: according to the client the sound quality is excellent with this new addition and gives him the ability to take tube rolling to the next level.

Got a few more sexy builds to post this week. Stay tuned.  :thumb:

Tweaky indeed! I rarely use silver lated copper in the signal path, this build was no exception to that rule, but I did use it for the heater. Aside from all that the use of acrylic and epoxy to make a barrel is new and novel for my builds. Nothing comes close to the structural stability and I'm definitely going to start integrating these types of materials in more of my builds.

I described this build to my wife this way- "It’s an adaptor to adapt two adaptors to adapt a special tube using a voltage adaptor."  :duh:

That’s a first for sure. Outside the box kind of thinking…kinda like hand polishing silver wires 😄

Always challenging myself to create something new and effective. Science and Art combined.

This one is a unique one for a few reasons. First and foremost I made this headphone cable specifically for a video project I’m working on with my photographer Tegan K (https://www.tegankstudios.com/) it’s going to be mind blowing! I can’t wait to show you all, but at the very least I can show you the end result of the build. And what a build! Pure silver Angel hair Litz Knot in a more portable configuration.

All fittings are custom made by my bead maker in Ukraine out of pure titanium, then anodized to get those crazy colors. The Y bead is a forge folded titanium bead giving it that wild yellow/blue stripped patterning.  :duh: Mind blowing stuff coming from a very talented artist!

I built this one for my portable setup. IFi Diablo, Meze Liric into my computer which is using Aero Ag USB with both iFi iSilencer and iPurifer. I highly recommend both of these ANC devices when plugged directly into a computer. Especially with higher resolution file formats, you get was less hash and better sound quality.

On another topic, we still have space on the Aero digital tour. This is the mother of all yours, it will have ALL of the Aero digital caes in both copper and silver.  8) Sign up here: https://forms.clickup.com/8415154/f/80txj-920/FA8PLZHL7YKXPIW0RL

Hi All,
I am the Happy Recipient of these 3 Cables. A little background first.
I auditioned the first Aero USB cable in February of 2022. I put it up against as Sablon 2020 USB; which I owned and later on added a Sablon EVO USB Cable, which a friend owned and we listened together to all 3 cables. Prio to adding the EVO I had been listening to the Aero cable vs the Sablon 2020 for about a week or so. It was clearly that the Hapa was a special cable. Much more refined and musical than the Sablon 2020. When my friend came over with the EVO we kept things simple. At the time my system consisted of a Bryston BP26 Preamp, Bryston 4B cubed amp, Bryston BDA-3 DAC and my front end was and still is a Sonore Signature Rendu SE Optical being fed from a Sonore Optical Module Deluxe and a Custom Built Music Server. My Speakers are Totem Acoustic Mani 2 Signatures.
Like I said we kept things simple; my go to demo CD is Larry Carlton’s “Alone / But Never Alone”, we used Tracks 1 & 5, Track 1 is “Smiles and Smiles to Go”, which contains a wonderful continuous flowing Bass Line along with an Acoustic Guitar. The second track is called High Steppin’, lots of percussive things happening, probably my favorite track on this album. The third track we chose id the Opening track to Chuck Mangione’s “Children of Sanchez”, very dynamic featuring Horn’s and a male vocal. Comparing the Aero to the 2020 we both agreed the Aero was the better of the two. Add the Sablon EVO to the mix; that changed everything. When we listened to the Chuck Mangione track the best way to describe the Aero would be shoutee. Jason had sent me a 2.0M cable; we thought maybe I needed a shorter cable. In the end I ended up purchasing the EVO and returned the Aero to Jason.

Fast forward a year later; after many changes to my system; I reach out to Jason again and ask him if I could demo the new Aero Ag USB and a couple of Aero Ag BNC Cables. I have been a fan of Silver cables for many years, my Power cables are Audio Magic and my XLR Cables were Audio Magic and Silversmith Audio. Both based on silver conductors. He obliged; and so my latest Hapa journey began.
My system is very different from the previous one as well; Bricasti M12 Controller and M25 Amp, a new server build, 2 Custom built Linear Power Supplies. The server is built off the Taiko DIY Chassis, ended up being quite a challenge due to QC issues and mistakes on my end as well. This is the end result…..

The reason for the BNC Cables was the pending use of a AfterDark 10M Master Clock, it has 3 outputs, the plan was one to a Uptone Audio EtherRegen, one to a Sotm Motherboard / Sotm SCLK-EX combo and a third to a AfterDark Network Card which I initially did not have. My Network card when I was doing all of this was a JCAT NET CARD-XE.

Jason sent me a Aero Ag USB and 2 Aero AG BNC Cables. While waiting on the AfterDark Clock I wasted no time, in with the Aero Ag USB and out went the Sablon EVO. All I could say was Holy Moly; this was a complete 360 degree about face. I used the same 3 tracks and it was an entirely different experience. The amount of detail retrieval and the musicality of this cable was outstanding right from the get go.
I did a quick swap just to be sure, and then back to the Aero.  I listened for at least a week, letting the system play 24/7 to assist with the break in, I had no desire to go back to the EVO. I obviously had to and I did, and allowed that to settle in again and listened to that for a period of time again. The EVO is no slouch and very popular but it was boring compared to the Aero Ag. At a significant upcharge was the Hapa Aero Ag worth it? To my ears absolutely. I was hearing things I had not noticed in tracks that I had been listening to for years.

On to the BNC Cables…..I originally had a single output AfterDark Clock tied to my EtherRegen Network Switch along with a AfterDark BNC Cable, somewhat entry level at the time I upgraded that to their EVA version, the affect of a clock can take things to a new level in terms of Live Sound. Not here to debate that, this is about Jason and Hapa….
With the additional changes to my system my needs changed and I asked  AfterDark to build me a custom clock with 3 outputs.
No plans for the 3rd output yet; the clock arrived and the listening began.
The first test was to reset the EtherRegen to its internal clock and put the first Aero Ag BNC on the Sotm SCLK-EX. Again using the same 3 tracks, the first thing I noticed was a much lower noise floor, obviously this is a result of having the clock but no doubt the cable as
well. I also noticed a much larger soundstage and much more precision overall. Next I added the second cable to the EtherRegen, more improvement, much closer to a Live presentation. After deciding I wanted to put the 3rd output of the clock to good use I decided to order the AfterDark NIC. In terms of maybe trying to save some money as I have been out of control, I asked Jason if I could try the Aero Copper BNC, lucky for me he had one available to send to me. Once it arrived I quickly swapped out the cable on the SOTM Clock Board. Well so much for saving any money, there was no comparison between the two. The copper cable is now residing on the AfterDark NIC while I wait for a third silver cable. I am keeping the AfterDark NIC by the way. Again things are that much closer to a Live performance. My system has never sounded more musical and life like.
You can see the 3 BNC Cables here.

I highly recommend trying out the Hapa Cables. In fact here is the perfect opportunity……..

https://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=185768.msg1948927#new

Enjoy the Music! I know I am…..Thanks to Jason and Hapa Audio!
Cheers,
Mike

I highly recommend Ember XLR. I just upgraded my integrated amp to a Modwright KWH 225i and it gets partially fed by an Okto dac8 Stereo, which has only balanced outputs. So I have Hapa Aero Cu Coax going in to the Okto and Hapa Ember XLR coming out.
Yeah, it works!
The Modwright is an incredibly muscular amp, reminding me of a Krell I had more than 30 years ago, but with more finesse and warmth. The NAD M50.2>Hapa Aero Cu Coax>Okto dac8>Hapa Ember XLR>Modwright KWH225i chain is something forged in heaven. I never knew that detail and accuracy could be so smooth and silky...
