Title: DIY vs Axiom m40ti's
Post by: AutoAudio on 5 Jul 2004, 07:06 pm
So I'm definately at the starting block.. I've been into car audio for about 10 years but clueless to home audio. Long story short I sold my car and dont have a car stereo so I need my music fix and thus I'm giving home audio a go.. and i'm pretty freakin poor. So for the receiver I'm thinking Denon AVR 1804 or Panasonic SA-XR45 but I only want a 2.1 set up so thats a lot of wasted channels.. feel free to make other suggestions. I've read really great reviews on the axioms so I was thinking of getting the axiom m40ti's but if I could get a better set up out of DIY for the same or better yet less money then I'm all over that. The cost of the axioms is $490 so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if i rambled too much.. I tend to do that.
