Title: A/V-C in cabinent.

"The AV-1+ can be built as a front-ported design for times when it will be placed into a cabinet or entertainment center and used as a center channel."

This got me thinking about a neat idea...

If I were to make a nicely finished faceless hardwood "box" (5 sides, the baffle not beng covered obviously, and a cutout on the back for terminals) with the correct dimensions that a certain speakers cabinent could snuggly slide into, would this have any sonic consequences? I thought it'd be a neat idea to have interchanglable "cabinents" that matched the rest of the room.
