Here we go!

Atrocious officiating for tonight's Saints' game, but the Saints prevailed.  :thumb:

Two lead changes in the last minute of the game, a career long game winning field goal, and you're complaining about officials?  C'mon man!  A great game with two good teams slamming at each other all night.  Had to be the hardest hitting game all weekend.  The Saints have gotten robbed two years in a row by circumstances at the end of the game, maybe this win in this fashion is a portent of things to come.

that's almost as tough as being a Bill's fan, but at least I can remember back to Kemp, Bass, Gilchrist, Dubenion, Stratton and the list goes on.

As for last nights Saints / Texans game, one of the most entertaining in quite some time

My observation so far is pretty simple. Some teams were simply not prepared( or conditioned) for the start of the season. The Bears, Steelers and Browns to name a few. On the other side of the coin you've got the Patriots, Rams, Ravens, etc.  I think I'll blame or credit the head coaches for the crappy or stellar results.

OK, just one game, from what I heard and the clips I saw, you have a new QB.  Its hard to tell without watching the game to know how well Jones really played, but his stats looked good.   Probably as good as anyone could have dreamed for.

My Rams tried to give the game away last night, but the defense was tough at the end.  And Baker still has some growing to do.

The Giants are rebuilding, and the arrow is pointing up.  QB, RB, G are set.  Keep building, don't go for quick fixes, and you'll have a real team in 3-4 years.  I see the Giants as the Cowboys competition over the next decade, not the Eagles.

That's hilarious!  As some may recall I have dual allegiances to both the Eagles and Steelers having lived some number of decades in each city so you can imagine my consternation.  To double it up I just moved back to the Pittsburgh area after thirty years in Philly.  So I should buy a bunch of Steeler gear, right?  I just don't have the heart.  Walmart has the obligatory aisle of Steeler merchandise, untouched, no one in the aisle, when I started brousing two store personnel looked over, perhaps hoping I might steal something to make it look better.  I can imagine a similar area in green on the other side of the state.

We'll see if the Bills have the mettle to go toe to toe against NE this Sunday.  We all know who the better team is here but TB and Co. also have not played any team of significance.  Bills defense turning out to be better this year than last.  A few breaks and who knows.  Only the Pats are better than the Bills in this division.

I'm amazed at all the QB injuries this year.  At least it feels outside the norm to me this early in the season.

It feels as if it's all positions this year, receivers, RB, D linemen, everybody's getting injured at a seemingly higher rate.  I have no statistics, only impressions, but if true likely the reduced conditioning and scrimmaging in preseason.

Glad it’s a home game! If the D can get some hits on Brady it’ll change the way he plays for sure.

Yeah, I made a rough distance estimate on one replay and I believe you could literally drive a full size pickup truck through the gap, not kidding.  It was off left tackle and the young man I was watching with looked over at my 65yo fat, infirmed self and said damn, either one of us could get through that hole.

Did anyone else think it was pass interference on that last play in the end zone?  I was waiting for Green Bay to throw a challenge flag, I suppose you can't challenge PI in the last 2 minutes?
