Spatial Audio

If you haven't seen it yet, Ron over at New Record Day just posted a review of the Revelation Series preamp and monoblocks (Raven & Blackbirds).
I asked Ron if he listened to the Raven in front of his kilowatt power amp. He said it "sounds incredible" but felt like the video was getting a bit long.

With regard to adding a subwoofer... the Raven does support both balanced and SE output at the same time for anyone who wants to use SE for their subwoofer along with balanced to the amplifier.
Also, the silver XLR interconnects that Ron heard were a prototype. Actual production uses a slightly higher quality silver wire. Whether or not that changes the sound characteristics in a way that makes them more pleasant is up to the individual. We do offer the same 45-day return policy on cables. They will be on our website later this week once we get some representative photos.

Would like to hear what y'all thing of the video.

It would have been interesting if NRD would have included a Raven + Legacy combination vs Serene + Legacy to get a sense of Raven’s character.

I am curious about where is the Monolith Interstage transformer is located?  Is it between the first amplication tube and KT88, or between the KT88 and 300B??

Hi..   The power and output transformers are custom wound Monolith Magnetics, as well as the large choke.  The interstage transformers are custom wound by Cinemag and took several iterations to get exactly what we wanted.
