Help close to NYC
« on: 18 Jan 2004, 02:15 pm »
A friend is building a house in our neighborhood (Ocean Township, Monmouth County, NJ) and has run into snags putting in a Home Theatre system.  $4,000 already in work (just the wiring) and he thells me it is a Sh-t job   .  He has not even bought components/speakers yet.
I offered to him that I would ask the Audiocircle community for suggestions.  Probably the best I could hope for is that one of you could suggest a top notch dealer/installer in this area who would do the job for a fair price.
I would guess that his budget would be in the $10,000 range (Not bad!)

Regards,
Mark

Mark,

My fav dealer in the Tri-State area is PerrottaConsulting (located in Brewster, NY).  Anthony is great to deal with and has worked on projects from a few thousand into the six figure range.

Here is his website:

Best of luck.

Thanks for your responses so far.  I bought a house from the same builder and they limit you to their own electrician if you want to do any prewiring.  It certaily limits you.  They obviously do it so they can take a cut off the top.  In this real estate market, customer service is hard to come by.
