Cool. May have to get one to see if it is fast/powerful enough to stream via the network, do 4 way active crossovers, and send to an 8 channel dac via USB. That would be my use case.

Cool. I ordered one with an Android eMMC - going to see how it works as a giant tablet for running music remotes - I already have a 21" touchscreen that isn't getting much use. Ordered the plugin wifi and bluetooth modules to go with it. By the time you add all the bits and pieces it costs a bit more than $63 tho...

There's also a 4GB version, I added the link to the first post.

That's really cool. Is it essentially a Mac mini, but minus the Mac....and corresponding price tag!?

A fair bit smaller, less than 4" square. I found some benchmarks, according to those this board is somewhere between a 2010 Mac mini and a 2011 (Core 2 duo vs i5) in speed. Maybe I should change the title ... This board lacks storage options (HDD/SSD) and is more for embedded-ish applications. Think Raspberry Pi on steroids...

I expect it will run a usable (Linux) desktop but there are other boards that would be better suited if drives/SSDs are needed e.g. NanoPC T4 and ODroid H2 (everybody waiting for this one...)
