Khartago input sensitivity...
« on: 24 Feb 2021, 04:15 am »
I'm thinking of ordering a Luminous passive pre and need the input sensitivity to complete the order. The impedence is listed, but not the sensitivity.
Thanks!

ETA: 1 volt per Klaus.

I thought it was 1V, but I’m not sure. Your best bet is to call Klaus. He may be able to optimize it for you!

i have found odyssey amps to be on the more sensitive side when coupled with preamps - moreso than most other well known higher end power amps be they tube or solid state

No, they don't ...personally,  I have yet to find a mismatch with a tube pre....the amps just love tubes,  and while there are differences in noise etc.  stemming from the tube units,  yes,  you can't argue with the performance results.........

I've used my Kismet in Stratos monos with 2 tubed preamps (the latest being a Don Sachs) and the results are excellent, smooth music.
