......So I am certain if I buy the 4B3 (PS James: is it 4B3 or 4B³?) I would be happy with it's improved performance. I am thinking about it...

Nice work Elizabeth. I agree with you about hearing subtle differences. I have all Bryston electronics and ATC speakers (and a pair of Thiels). My amp is the 4BSST2.  I've been meddling with speaker cables and finally settled on a pair of Audioquest Aspens. I'm also thinking of moving to the 4B3 amp. Too bad I live in a town without a hi fi shop and haven't had the opportunity to listen to the new cubed series. But excited about the prospect of adding the new amp into my setup!

Great review...do not count the GFP-750 out though...in passive mode with my 14BSST to Martin Logan CLSZ2...I have not heard a cleaner preamp.
