Stick... Omega speaker with narrow baffle?
« on: 9 Mar 2010, 03:27 am »
Hi Louis,

I'm wondering about the narrow baffle of the new Stick speakers.  How did you get them to smooth out the midrange.  I know that's why you changed the original narrow baffle Omega 3's to the wider design.

Perhaps that's not such an issue using the newer hemp drivers.  I'd love to hear the Sticks.

Hi Roy,

The midrange is working out very nicely and it has to do with the balance of the overall design. The Stick is tuned differently. The design gives me better output in the low and mid bass and this balances out the rest.

Thanks,
Louis

Louis, are the Sticks a double bass reflex design or TL's considering their reported excellent low end response?  Anyway, would love to hear them.  :thumb:
