I'm considering VR 4's, 4.5's, and 6's. Even found some 3's very cheap but the efficiency is not there.
The new VR33's intrigue me but I like the style of the older units.
My Rcvr is a 105 watt per channel Yamaha RX-A1000 HT 7.2 unit. so the speakers are to be used for a living room HT set up as well.
It is capable of bi-amping but I might just add a seperate 2 channel amp for the low end.

Hello Lightguy,

Switch on your light at the archives of Von Schweikert Research.

All VS(R)A speakers have friendly efficiency so your reciever should give you satisfaction.
