Any news on this new WTL turntable? See it retailing for 8500 euros with a GT version for 10500 Euros. Any idea of release date, specs, etc?

Regards Steve

Can you post a link to where you've seen this table?  I've never even heard of this model.

Analog planet (stereophile) Munich 2018 hi fi show day 1 walk around. About 16mins into the video - you'll recognise the kiwi accent. ( do we really sound like that??)
Highlights are it has a split plinth with the squash balls in the between the two layers and has the same RCA or XLR outputs as on the royale. I think he said it had the power supply built in. There will be a GT version with an aluminium top, standard is in bamboo. Uses the Sym/Ltd tonearm (looks standard size).

I understand it will slot in below the royale but above everything else, (a baby Royale?) and that both amadeus tables are to be phased out as the simplex and versalex cover that territory now.

It is a thing of beauty.. I am considering this or the versalex once they have released it. Here in NZ im told we should get the details next week once Frank and Mike are back from Munich

It looks interesting.  Though I wish they would change back to a rubber drive belt and make speed changes accessible by a switch or button.

...noted the comment ...RCA or XLR outputs as on the royale ...
Is this output for "special" carts using one or other when outputting signal? Maybe I don't know advantages of XLRs on phonostage side...
