Nice. Looks like almost the whole cycle with Paavo Jarvi and the Cincinnati Orchestra are $5.98 each. And the Riverside jazz stuff look good, too. I picked up a couple (Amadeus Soundtrack and Michael Camilo Live At Blue Note). Thx

The soundtrack to the movie "Amadeus" on 2 SACD at $5.98 is a screaming bargain!! And I am not even much of a classical fan.

Yep, I grabbed that one as quick as I could.

The other one I mentioned, Michael Camilo, Live at Blue Note, is a favorite recording of Michael Bishop's, the multi Grammy-winning Telarc engineer. He told me about it when he last visited the house. Telarc is in my town and Michael became a friend/acquaintance when I was eval'ing and buying ATC speakers, the ones he uses to mix with. He gave me a tour, signed a couple SACD's he gave me (one was pre-released and he later won a Grammy with, Britten/Elgar), and later visited the house a couple times. I was blown away by his generosity and accessibility. Anyway, Telarc is now defunct but Michael has formed a new recording/mastering companyy with a few others, and is still doing his thing.

Nice find! Spent a few $$ on that visit, now we will see (or hear) how my new Oppo DBP-83 does with them.

I couldn't resist $5.98 each (even though I have a backlog of music, DVDs and Blu-Rays sitting here) and ordered several SACDs and a CD. Deepdiscount.com has Blu-Rays on sale and among what I ordered is Roy Orbison's "Black and White Night." I have the DVD but a friend told me he has the DVD, SACD and Blu-Ray and like the Blu-Ray best. I think he told me the Blu-Ray has 2-channel 24/96 audio besides a multi-channel mix. I couldn't resist that at $12.18 and free shipping.

It seems that they have pulled most of the single albums from the sale.

In the classic jazz section they're only offering boxed sets.

You would think that they would list the discounted disks in one place otherwise you have to sift through hundreds of albums. I checked the site a few days ago and the single albums were listed.

All the Telarc SACDs are back to $18.98. Glad I got my 42 SACDs ordered before they shut the promo down. I can view my order by logging into the website. I printed it out for documentation since I haven't received a confirmation email.

Looks like the party's over.

They clearly were not ready for this sale ... Hopefully they'll get their act together next time around.

We think the sale is over (almost before it started) and they were not prepared for the onslaught. We're waiting for answers from a couple emails (and shipment feedback like Cacophonix's), but a call into them wouldn't hurt.
