The power supply design (for Bugle phono) is quite generic and can be easily modified to suit other output voltages. A recent request was for a clean, regulated 5V supply for digital circuits. No problem. Heck, make it a +/-5V supply for a few more bucks. Download the following schematic and parts list to build this version.

It will drive about 250mA output current, maybe even 300mA.
