This is a great CD that perhaps is my favorite. It features Roy and his touring band at the time going into the studio to capture their magic from the tour. I had the great fortune to see the band (before the CD) in DC it what I considered one of the best concerts I had ever seen - it was part of a tribute night at the Duke Ellington festival. Please partake, I have to believe you will agree!

Roy was a tragic, premature loss, as was Wallace Roney. Different cases of death, but both too soon and with a lot of music left in them.
