Hi All,
New to the forum but have been into Audio for last few years and two and a half years ago made the plunge albeit into an AVR and 5.1 system.
Since then I have replaced my speakers once (all zone stereo not a good idea with an 80watt avr) and my AVR three times (X1200, X2200 and finally x4300h) last one was due to upgrade with warranty replacement.
I currently run the Denon X4300 with Dali Ikon 5 mk2 floor standers and Dali Ikon vocal center and two zenzor 3's as surrounds. I use an SVS SB2000 as a sub.
My most recent upgrade was making my own Subwoofer decoupling plinth with 30mm granite and some sound isolation foam which yielded pretty good results, i made the same for my floor standers and while there is a difference not sure if its because my tweeters are ear level, or my speakers are de-coupled.
Great to be here
