If you read all 12 of the 10 question interviews, you are left with the feeling that these are all very smart guys who have a passion for making gear that improves the home audio sound experience (generically speaking). As a result, their products all reflect what they want music to sound like to the buyers of their products.
For buyers, this means that we have to determine which of these guys hears music the way we do and voices their products accordingly...and sometimes we go through a bunch of gear to get there.
For me, I went through three amps over five years before landing on the 2Cherry. More than any other amp I'd tried, the 2Cherry removed a couple layers of sonic haze and brought the music alive. This was a big surprise that I hadn't contemplated as being possible.
I too am looking forward to Tommy's preamp with the hopes that it will perform a similar miracle.
