System Overview

Working on getting the room tamed down with EQ and passive treatments. Well balanced, but a little right side heavy because of early reflections off pole, needs treatment. Low bass through mid-treble is excellent. Working on taming mid to high treble region. Soundstage a little collapsed because of pole and irregular shaped room, working to correct this winter.

Music Preferences

Deep House, Breakbeat, Rock, Jazz, Dawg (think: Garcia/Grisman).

Room Description

Wall-to-wall carpet. Irregular shape with carpeted staircase on right side. DIY 2x4' treatment panels at early reflection points (except on pole, working on solution for that now).

Tuning and Tweaks

((Audio Source SW15)) -- Modded with upgraded speaker connections, heavy dynamat treatment and polyfill. Makes a fairly respectable sub-40Hz contribution. Useless above 50Hz because of room node and poor design. I Keep it set below 35-40Hz and works well
