NCore and UcD700 comparisons
« on: 24 Jan 2013, 06:29 pm »
Hello Guys,

Been away for awhile and wanted to get more details on the new NCore modules.   I have build several Hypex amps over the years and wanted to see if anyone has compared the UcD700HGs against the NCore.

Very interested in building a couple more...

Love to see that the chassis options are much improved.    Very impressive after scanning thru the build pics.  I have always been partial to Richard Krol's designs.    Looks like a similar version is available via siliconray.com.

Would love to see if anyone in the Northern California (San Francisco) area that has built an NCore.   Might be nice to do a side by side comparison.... :)

I have included a few pics.  The monos are using the UcD700HGs and the 5 channel incorporates the 180s.

Glad to see Hypex is still on the cutting edge.

Marty

There are a few comparisons.  Just search for them.

I even sent them to a guy that had the UcD.  I did this tour so you can read all the comments: http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=105310.0

One UcD

Another:

There are many others but I simply don't have the time to get them all.

You got the idea?   :P

Guys,

Thanks for the links.  I was also able to find several more comparisons.

Looks like I'll be building some NCore's!
