Thanks for the heads up. Love old Bach and Gardiner's interpretations of his work. If you want an excellent read, I just finished James Gaines "Evening in the Palace of Reason." A superb bit of historical biography about the intersection/collision of Baroque and Enlightenment philosophy through the personalities of J.S. Bach and Frederick the Great. One of the best books in that genre of literature I've ever had the pleasure to read. Made me appreciate so many more nuances of Bach's work.
