Drummers are smarter than you and everybody else

Being a drummer I was surprised to hear this, but then again I'm not. I've always known it doesn't take to much to be smarter than a guitar player. http://consequenceofsound.net/2014/05/its-official-drummers-are-smarter-than-you-and-everybody-else/

Doc,
I was a drummer too.
Sold my last set in 2010.
Here she is, Old Ludwigs I got for $200 with no heads, and I added a gizillion cymbals.
I knew if I ever did it again I'd have a big set. It's missing the Gong, cowbells, and chimes
I played out locally for 15 years late 70'- 80s, Gawd those were the days  :drums:.

Bitch'y neighbor's, no basement and gettin old caused the sale  :bawl:

A lot of kids with no musical talent play the drums. They learn how to do the solo to impress peers at beer parties but can't keep time with the music. I wish I had a dollar for every high school and college kid I have heard who fits this description.

Well, that was a great article Doc.... I feel smarter already...

Hear's my electronic kit I've been playing for a while.. You get to play almost any time you want.
The most that can be heard is rhythmic tapping.

Hey wire nut, thats a serious drum set you had, WTF...

Did you always play with your floor toms on the left??

Yes I'm left handed. My floor toms and hihat where always on the left. Made it kinda hard doing a roll going from the hihat to the first small tom
on the right side but I was pretty quick in my younger days, not so much now.

Looking back at it I should have bought an electronic set and used head phones. That would be fun and no cops at my door.

A lot of kids with no talent play a lot of things. There are other reasons to participate.
