Title: New to Daedalus family
Post by: Loki57 on 3 Jan 2020, 06:40 pm
I just picked up a pair of used DA RMA V.2. I couldn't be happier. They work better in my 17x17 ft room than my Fried Reference speakers. I never thought I'd part with the Frieds but they're up for sale. The Daedalus  are more natural sounding. Not as hifi.  I do use 2 Aerial acoustics sw12 subs with them. The Daedalus throw a wider soundstage in my relatively small room. More transparent. As I said I couldn't be happier.

Congratulations, and welcome to the Daedalus family, Loki57!

I haven't heard the DA-RMA (any version) speakers yet, but I'd be willing to bet they sound pretty darned nice. Perhaps, similar sounding to the Pans or Athena? Dunno.
I came really close to buying a used pair for my office last year, but decided my marriage might suffer if I followed through with the purchase.

In any event, Lou's speakers all have a very special sound to them.
