Calling Mike Dzurko (or anyone else who has done this) - amplifier on above sub has died, can anyone suggest a replacement?

Parts Express has a big selection of  plate amps for subs.

The Bash amps are pretty good for that application.

They were made by Triad.  You could see if it is worth sending to them or find really any plate amp with similar drop in dimensions.  I have done the same and worked fine.

Thanks guys! Found someone locally who is willing to take a shot at repairing the amp; seems most likely the capacitors are shot. If that fails then will look at getting a drop in replacement. Unfortunately I'm on the other side of the world so if parts+shipping turns out to be too much I guess its time for a new amp.
