Hello. I just picked up a Vandersteen 2Wq sub but does not have the WX-2 crossover or any other crossover with it. I have ready about the different crossovers and even one person who claims that his setup sounds better without any crossover. With the X-2 crossover I need to select based on input impedance of my amp. I have several so will need to select the amp to use with the 2Wq sub and Vandersteen 3A speakers fist.
So now I wonder to I get the expensive Crossover that I think I can use with different amps or just get the WX-2 cheapest that allows changing as well. Or do I just pick an amp and get the X-2 that corresponds to it.
Amps include:
Carver TFM-4.0, M-1.5T, TFM-15CB
Yamaha M-85
Bryston 4B and a couple of 2B-LP
