Heads UP! Columbia M35152 This is Perlman on violin, Zuckerman on viola, and Harrell on cello doing Dohnanyi's Seranade in C and Beethoven's seranade in D maj. It's a demo quality lp, equal to any TAS list stuff that I've heard. I got lucky on fleabay, finally, and got a true NM promo copy. There is a NM copy at Amazon now at $20. Normally, I'd never drop that kind of change on a Columbia lp, but this is really exceptional. If you pass on that one, just keep an eye out for it.
Of course, part of the sound is a new phono stage that I'm listening to for the first evening - an upgraded Dodd. Very nice step up from what I had used before.
