I am asking this question for a forum member of a HiFi group in Germany.

I have a question. Maybe you can help me. I have a Nuprime cdt-10 drive and supposedly the display can be dimmed or switched off completely. But I haven't found out how this is supposed to work. The operating instructions do not provide any information either. So if anyone knows how to do it, I would be very grateful.

Just a shot in the dark, when your cd player is on, on your remote control press "0", it may work?

I own the CDT-10.  I just read through the online manual, but found no mention of how to dim the display. My <hazy> memory tells me there is a way to dim the display. Has your friend tried the display button on the remote? [I don't recall what options are available once this button is pressed.] Thanks to the holidays and my adorable 5-month old grandson, I'm unable to access my remote to try to dim the display.

I have tried a few key combinations.
Unfortunately without success so far.
