So are you saying that this is a different amp than the Nuforce STA-100 ?

Totally different.  Nuprime is not allowed to use Nuforce technology other than the Ref series. Nuforce design and technologies are more than 10 years old, way outdated .  Nuprime has come a long way since.

Wow, nice looking amp and great price.  I would love to hear one.  You could make a nice little system pairing it with something like the Saga preamp and Modi DAC.  All for under $1K.  Add a pair of Elac BR2 speakers and you have a great system for under $1500.

I've been interested in getting two STA-9X amps for a while now, but I must sell an amp before I can make the switch - but that amp is 5000 miles to the west of my current location.    Hopefully, it'll happen next Spring.
