No damage to the house, but lot's of debris in the yard. Some of our close neighbors..... Not so lucky. Lot's of trees on the roads and houses, and our street was blocked by three old-growth pines for about 12 hours. Still no high-speed Internet to the house, but the cell towers are slowly coming online. Time for a little headphone listening

Thanks! We were worried when the neighbor's pines came close to hitting our roof, but luckily they pulled back just in time. Always scary and exciting! Still a bunch of people without power. Texas needs to fix our power grid. This wasn't even a strong storm

 Good to hear things weren't any worse at your digs and you are well. Sounds like you've got power, which is very good given the heat & humidity. Seems your Lt. Gov made the same comment about the power system, particularly after the issues a couple of years back. Stay cool, here's hoping things get back to normal sooner rather than later. Stay safe.
