Love • Love Lost
LP 1

Off the web:

Love Lost was recorded in 1971, during a brief, little-known period during which Love was signed to Columbia Records. Lee and the then-current Love lineup--bassist Frank Fayad, guitarist Craig Tarwater and drummer Don Poncher--recorded an album's worth of new material for the label. But after the band left the company, the recordings sat unreleased and unheard until now. The material on Love Lost--comprised of the unreleased Columbia sessions, plus five unreleased acoustic demos from the same period--captures Love in a transitional phase, charting the next step in Lee's idiosyncratic musical trajectory, following the lush garage-psychedelia of the classics Da Capo and Forever Changes, and the bluesier direction of the hardrocking False Start and Out Here.

Bonnie Koloc • After All This Time

Bonnie Koloc (born February 6, 1946) is an American folk music singer-songwriter, actress and artist. She was considered one of the three main Illinois-based folk singers in the 1970s, along with Steve Goodman and John Prine forming the "trinity of the Chicago folk scene". Her music continues to be recognized and valued by historians of Chicago folk music as well as by her long standing fan base in that area. But her voice, which may be considered crystalline in its clarity, is remembered as well.

What voice the lady has. Yeah, she, Steve, & John were regulars at the Earl of Old Town back in the late '60s early '70s. Was too young for admission at the time, but they were Chitown favorites along with The Siegel-Schwall Band, Harvey Mandel, and of course CTA.  :thumb:

Seconded. One of his best imo. What a show he puts on, saw him 2 or 3 times back in the day. Took my folks to see him with Shenandoah back in the late '70s and they thoroughly enjoyed it. If you haven't heard  The Story Of Reuben Clamzo & His Strange Daughter In The Key Of A and could use a good laugh check it out  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YFSLnK_Z4Q. The man is a story teller of the first class.  :D  Note that the cut is 17+ minutes long.

Hope you are staying cool P-man, been a little stormy in your neck of the woods this year. Be well.
