I don't put a lot of stock in it at first face, but I guess I've heard stranger things. A rumor going around insists that Nintendo won't create a new machine but rather is throwing in with Microsoft to develope for the NextBox or whatever they call it.
This seems pretty farfetched to me- Nintendo is getting pasted right now (only 16% market share, ouch!) but they have a long & successful console history. It's touch to imagine them pulling a Sega and bailing out of the race. Furthermore, I thought I'd heard a few rumors already about their impending new machine?
Anyone heard anything that might be credible?
