Progressing, a Integrated A/V System by jamesgarvin

Room Size
24 x 18
System Overview
I have an intregrated system in room and speakers only. The electronics are totally separate, and do not share any connections.
Music Preferences
Acoustic Jazz, with some contemporary jazz; Heavy metal/hard rock, some British pop.
Movie Preferences
I like variety, and will watch virtually anything, though I notice my tolerance of drug and sex movies waning as I get older.
Room Description
A fairly large room in the finished basement, though I wish the ceiling height was higher than seven feet. A thin carpet over concrete, and drywall over concrete on the walls. There is a half wall on the left side of the room, and there is pool room on the other side of the wall.
Acoustic Treatment
None
Listening Impressions
I think the room is very good below about 40hz, and above about 90hz. I have measured a pronounced suckout between those regions, and I have a Anthony Gallo Acoustics amplifier which allows me to adjust the crossover level, and fill in some of the suckout. But it is not an elegant solution to the problem.
Media Storage
Like the shelves which hold the compact discs and records in another part of the basement?
