RMAF 2018
« on: 5 Oct 2018, 08:51 pm »
Is anyone going?

I will be there on Saturday. Hopefully I will run into some old friends.

If you happen to find yourself at Pint Brother's Alehouse, try out Juicy Banger IPA. That is a beer I make.

Cheers,
Wayne

I'm going tomorrow, I'd love to hear some impressions from people that went today. Does anyone know if PMC and Proac are being featured in any rooms?

Not that I saw...but I went through quickly today.

Interestingly enough, I actually spent more time just visiting with "old" friends than actually listening to anything. I did get pulled into a couple rooms to check out and listen and while they sounded ok, it could have been better with some attention to detail.

I find myself only visiting rooms of products that I know sound great and that I have made relationships with the people. Those included MSB Technology (I am a former employee), Salk Sound, J-Corder (the RtR's facinate me and I want one so bad.).

I did spend a good amount of time in CanJam checking out some custom in ear headsets by Alclair.

You're a brewmaster at "Station 26"? Very cool!

Juicy Banger is indeed quite good... also partial to the Tangerine Cream on a hot summer day. Goes down far too easily.

Lots of fun Breweries along the front range... makes it hard to choose at times.

It was good to meet you, Pete.

I ran into Tyson in the morning and we ended up walking through the entire show together.

He took all the pictures. I will add some more comments in his thread.

A few things that impressed me were two classic product relaunches.

The JBL- 100 sounded amazing. Quite a bit different from the original.

The Klipsch Forte III was also very enjoyable to listen to.
