Testing a 12DW7 / 7247
« on: 23 Mar 2019, 12:17 pm »
My Jackson 648S tester does not seem to test this tube correctly.  There are different settings for each side of the triode.

The first test always produces a very low result, in the low 20s on the Jackson scale.  The 2nd test produces more expected results.  I have tested 3 different pairs of tubes and the results are all similar so I do think it is the setting.

Any one else either have this issue or have a suggestion for the correct "1st test" settings?

I think I found the issue.  The Nor-S / S switch was in the S position.  That was affecting the first test.   :duh:
