I agree commercially selling an amp with a Nelson Pass DIY design (when he specifically asked people not to) is unethical.

Unethical to sell using the Pass name (only diyAudio has permission to sell Nelson Pass diy stuff), but fine for individual use. It is not a Pass amp. The circuit may be Pass designed, but that is all he can say about it.

With so many Pass designs out there it would be nice to know which one it is — without that, and the removal of the Pass name, not worth considering.

For the same $329 one can get a Pass ACA kit from diyAudio.com store, you do have to assemble it. A bargain.

It's supposedly an Aleph (maybe M for 'mini'). It's almost guaranteed to be different from the original circuit. If the listing said 'based on' or 'inspired by' I would have less of a problem.
