M-165 Woofer Surround Replacement / Advice

M-165 Woofer Surround Replacement / Advice

Hello All,

I built a pair of XLS Encores last year and they have been treating me fantastic! Unfortunately I have a rambunctious feline friend who in his lack of grace managed to slice open the surround on one of my woofers with his claws. Is a replacement of the surround for the M-165 available, feasible, or even advisable? Is there a recommended repair?

Just buy a new M-165.  They are cheap enough that by the time you mess with a new surround you'll wish you just bought another.
And consider getting a dog.

Scott's recommendation is exactly what I would recommend. At least regarding the speaker.  :lol:

Though I would have to say they are inexpensive enough as they certainly are not cheap   :green:
