Hi I am considering selling my beloved OB/7's. Every time I upgrade my electronics they just continue to improve. I suspect you would have to spend a small fortune on electronics to reach their limit. Just looking to do something different. Danny actually did his magic and performed some "tricks" to the crossovers as these were sent to him to fix what turned out to be a room related issue.

These have all the upgrades:

Sonicap Capacitors
Sonicap Platinum bypass
Mills resistors
Alpha Core Inductors
M130X Woofers Upgrade
NoRez lined interior
Paper in oil bypass on midrange
External Crossovers
Bass Management System

Built to spec with 1.25 baffle and NoRez with figured walnut veneer. These are located in Austin and looking for local sale.
Asking $1350  New price $1150 plus ship and paypal

These speakers will easily compete with any $3500 and up commercial speaker offering. The open baffle mids give them a very open and spacious soundstage. The bass with the XBL upgraded woofers is very tight and fast, I most often listen without subwoofer support so as to not degrade the bass quality.

The ribbon tweeter with Sonicap Teflon bypass produces an unrivaled clarity and the speaker as a whole is very resolute. The cabinets are very solid and built to Danny’s specifications with the 3% taper on bass cabinet and weigh approx. 85lbs each. While the cabinets are not perfect from the front they look like a million bucks.

I am unable to have any sound treatments in my room and while not mandatory a few treatments is best with open baffle. I will be returning to a box speaker and hoping I don’t regret it.

I am lowering the price one last time in hopes of a sale, otherwise I will just sit back and enjoy them!

new price $1150        shipping available

These are the speakers I'd buy if I was in the market for a new pair.

So near yet so far...
If only not for the shipping and customs Nick....
The OB7's are what I have in mind to pair with my LS-C & that is a beautifully built pair. And not to mention the fact its available for a steal...
If anyone is even remotely planning to build the LS-C grab these beauties now & save yourself the time and money and follow up with the LS-C later.

I live in the Dallas area.  I am trying to fight the urge to come check them out.  I'm afraid if I hear them, I might not be able to resist.

Glad you got your sale done Nick. I must admit I was very close to
offering to meet you in Waco and swapping you cash for speakers.
But.... since you got them sold that speaker money is going for a
snowmobile trip to Wisconsin, leave tomorrow afternoon. Yipeee.....
Best conditions in years they say.
