Title: Help modding the Vista Audio Spark?
Post by: Ryan200 on 23 Apr 2019, 10:40 pm
I'd like to bypass the volume pot but I don't know what size or type of resistor would work best. What do you think?

I'll be using a Topping DX7s which has an ouput resistance of 100 Ohms and puts out 2V. Speakers are Klipsch RP-260Fs.

Why don't you just ask Boris directly?

Boris responded quickly :D and recommended I set the volume to 3 o'clock for straight amp use.

I'm surprised at how good the sound quality is of this amplifier. I get now what reviewers mean by "sweet" sounding. It's a substantial upgrade from my Hitachi HA-12, HMA-7500, Crown XLS1500, and Marantz SR8400.
