I've come into an abundance of amplifiers and this has gotten me interested in the idea of bi amping my speakers w an active crossover. The overall idea is to drive the 15's w a Beringer NX3000 and the rest of the drivers with a Parasound HCA2200 using the stock passive crossover for the drivers powered by the Parasound.

I've gotten a minidspHD 2x4 to do the crossover work between the 15 and the rest of the drivers....What I need help w now is the XO for the Parasound part of the system, plz see my last post.
Thanks
Rick

Here is something I did as an DSP crossover for a friends VMPS RM50's.  Still using it today:

It appears the only affordable DSP is the miniDSP 2x4 HD, this will do what I need and more....

I need help w modifying the XO, if I remove the 15" from this XO what happens to the function of the XO? I ask because I've learned this is a series XO and removing the 15 will most likely "break it". Is there any simple acceptable mod to this crossover work w/o the 15? If not what is the best fix IYHO?
Thanks
Rick

After consulting with John Cassler, I've decided to leave the speakers as be {modifying the serial crossover by removing the 15 would break it for ALL remaining drivers with no easy fix} and use the DSP for running additional subwoofers...I have 2 VMPS original subs that are unused ATM.
