Title: Phono 1 output impedance
Post by: jazzzman on 20 Aug 2015, 07:57 pm
Does anyone know what the output impedance is for the Vista Audio Phono 1?  I am thinking of building a preamp and am trying to calculate values for my attenuator.
thanks

Output impedance of Phono-1 is 150 ohm. Part of it is intrinsic to the active components being used, and the other part is added to ensure protection in case of permanent short circuit at the output (due to bad interconnects, or for any other reason).

Hope this helps,
Boris
