I don't think so. Looking through my collection, all of my Triffid albums have the same members. I have a few albums by a band called "The Lilac Time". Could that be the band you're thinking of?

Lol! A few years ago I freaked out about a band I found online and somehow ordered a copy of the album from Amazon AND eBay on the same night. It was an album I already had. Still have 3 copies of it...
