I was using all 4 of the MCX-4 channels. but now I only require 2 of them.

Is there any way at all to bridge this for 2 channel operation?

I believe so, but it won't be exactly like MCX-2.  Let me find out if it is possible for you to DIY.  Otherwise we have to swap the boards for you.
