Questions??? Furutech e-TP80 power conditioning
« on: 21 Sep 2020, 04:55 pm »
Hi all, anyone using the Furutech e-TP80 power distribution center and how it is working for you?

I have used a few conditioners/filters throughout my years in this hobby from PS Audio, SurgeX, APC Powervar, Monster, etc., but not too familiar with this.

Of course all the reviews says it's great, but I just want to fix a couple of buzzing components, perhaps a little protection and so forth.

Thoughts are welcome!

Sonny maybe locate the cause of the Buzz first. Most likely a grounding issue. Yes Power Conditioners make a difference in reducing incomingAC noise. However do not fix ground issues. Do you separate your Digital from Analog. Dedicated lines ? What components Hum ?

I have one of these, and it is great. I doubt if it would solve your buzzing problems though.

It's just the Cary SACD Player...I used a "Cheater" plug and it helped, but still and issue.  It's a buzz, not a hum, actually.

Thanks

Charles the buzzing is coming only from the Cary and no other components, well the sub.
Yes, it's plugged into the same as the Phono pre, TT motor, etc.
