Thanks to everyone who came to the party. I enjoyed meeting new people and listening to some new music. I got some good advice on how to improve things further, and some nice compliments on the good parts.

Thanks for coming Giyan, and bringing some nice music, and for the restaurant recco...  :thumb:   Hope to see you again, while you are still living nearby.

Me too.  Also looking forward to the Chili.   :green:

BTW-your system loved the Melody Intergrated...wish I was able to hear it with your Manley 300B amps as I think that would've been really good too.

Each day I think about getting that recipe to you, don't worry I won't forget.  I just have to track down my wife, who is up to eyeballs at work right now.

When we switched to the SET amps everything started to click. We ended the night at midnight listening to TT>AR phono>AR linestage>Manleys in parallel SE mode, no feedback, awesome! We even listened through a thunderstorm, too hard to shut it down.

The Melody was a nice piece. Extended top and bottom, 22W PP 300B integrated with remote for $5k. My Manleys have much nicer tubes (about $1000) so they sounded more refined than the stock Sophia tubes in the Melody, but Manleys are not as quiet or punchy as the Melody with bigger output tranny. The Melody with upgrade tubes would be really fun to hear. Thanks to Tim (AC- woofersus) for interrupting his family vacation and hauling it down from Richmond.
