I just received a copy of this set. If you also have a copy and would kindly send me a private message, I'd appreciate it! I have a question you might be able to help with.

I used to have it but I donated it to my local library a couple years back.

The set I received has one defective disc. I'm trying to find a way to avoid sending it back. I didn't realize when I bought from Amazon.com that it was coming from Amazon UK and would have to be sent back to the UK if there was a problem.

I like Ross's playing a lot. I don't know how I overlooked it for so many years -- I think I confused him with Belder, whose playing I found a little under-characterized. When I was younger, I preferred a ferocious approach to Scarlatti (say, Hantai). While I still appreciate that, I enjoy it in smaller doses, and Ross's more temperate approach is more enjoyable for longer listening.

But 34 discs! It's like an assignment, if a very pleasant one.

Ross also has a set of Bach recordings that is very nice.

Yes, the Bach set recently showed up on Qobuz, and I've been enjoying it -- which got me interested in Ross, finally. Of his live Goldbergs, I've played only the Aria and a few variations so far; I look forward to sitting down to the whole thing one day soon.
