D200's left on or off.

Dusty, do you recommend leaving the D200's on all the time for best sound quality or left in standby mode when not in use. They sounded "much" better after being on (blue light) for about 10 mins, but then again it could have been my Cary tube pre-amp needed warming up, normally it's ready to go after 5 mins. Can the D200's safely be left on with the tube pre-amp in standby or turned off. Thanks.

The D-200's can be left on all the time but will use more power than in mute. When muted, it takes 30 minutes to an hour for them to get back to normal operating temperature/best sound.
