Hey Paul, have you ever considered making a clock for digital circuits?  I'm thinking it would be a real winner, ja?

Well, that'll be a hit, Paul, and will fill a gap.  Audiocom is one of the few purveyors making a decent diy-installation clock, but a glance at their power regulation shows room for appreciable improvement.

Yes, the tick-tock part (precision oscillator) is working very well on the bench. I have gotten fed up waiting for it to drift during a prolonged soak test. Next job is to set up the interface to allow it to be used to feed the outside world. Once this is done I will have a pre-production board made to verify electrical integrity and allow selection of the most appropriate supply regulation for the individual stages. This will not happen overnight as I have little spare time at present but progress is happening.

Your copper brackets turned up a few days ago so I have shipped them back today via Airmail.

Paul

Oh, those brackets.  That's some slow mail.  Wow.

Joke of the day.  A man runs into his boss' office, says, "The sky's falling."  The boss looks at him cooly and says, "Short sky."
