I rarely post in the audio forums anymore (this thread being the exception) and I don’t want to go off topic too much but I ordered a new pair of speakers recently (and I’m very excited) and I CANNOT wait to try Born to Run on them. One of my favorite.

Yes, it's one of the first albums I play when I make an upgrade to my system. It's not exactly an audiophile recording, but I know it so well that if there is an audible difference in the upgrade, I will hear it immediately. Congrats on the new speakers! What did you order?

Yeah, Springsteen’s catalog leaves a bit to be desired in terms of recording quality. Thanks for asking; I went with the B&W 702 S3. I’ve had the 683 S2 for eight years now and have wanted to move up to the 7 series for a long time. Went to Magnolia to listen to the new 600 series last Friday just to get out on a nice night and walked out dazed and confused having ordered the 702s.
